The act of taking the first step is what separates the winners from the losers. ? Brian Tracy

Want to be a winner? Want to be a success in your online business? If you’re reading this blog, then the answer to those questions would probably be YES! You want to achieve the dreams you have for your life. You want to be a success in your online business, or whatever financial endeavor you are working towards.

Quite often the thing that determines whether you’ll be a winner or a loser is just taking the first step. Many people have hopes of creating a business. Many wish they were financially independent. But “hoping” and “wishing” won’t get you to the success you want.

Brian Tracy said it so well:

“The act of taking the first step is what separates the winners from the losers.”

You have to take that First Step! You have to get started. If a person doesn’t take that first step to get started, they certainly will never reach their goals for success. You must decide what you want in life; then plan out how to get there; then get started doing what needs done to get there. Only by taking that first step, will you ever make process towards your goals.

Once you’ve made that first step, then determine to continue making the steps forward necessary to achieve your goals. Part of planning out your goals should be to decide what actions or steps need to be taken to get where you want to be.

If it’s building a business with a blog, the some of the regular action steps is simply writing the posts. If the plan involves regular videos on Youtube, then the action steps are to produce the video. The key is to know what steps need done and get started.

Success is not restricted to those with high IQ or high skill level, etc. Success is available to any of us… IF we take the first step and then don’t stop moving forward.

If you have customers or prospects already, then they’ve probably asked you questions. Write down any questions you’ve been asked related to your business. If you have a team in your business get everyone involved in making this list.

Write out what you’ve been asked about your business. Once you have this list, Use these questions as the titles for your future blogs posts. 2. Write a list of questions you have had about building your business.

If you have been working to build an online business presence, you’ve probably had questions about what to do or how to do something. Write out a list of all the questions you have had or can think of related to your business, or to building a business. Use this list of questions as the titles and subjects of future blog articles.

If you have these questions, then it’s a good chance many other people have these questions as well. Also as you do the research to write your blog posts on each of these subjects, you will learning about the subject. Don’t worry if you don’t have in-depth understanding on the subject. You will learn about it as you develop your article and be helping others looking for the answers to these questions.

Also don’t worry that others have already written about the topic. You will be hard pressed to find a topic which has not been written about. The key is to continue to produce relevant content and as you do, then your posts will continue to rise on the search engine listings above others who have written in the past.

The key is to continue producing relevant content.

3. Make a list of the Negative phrases about your product or business.

Why focus on the negative? Because often times people looking for information about a product or service will type in a negative phrase for the search.

For example: If someone is searching about Affiliate Marketing they might search with a phrase like: “problems with affiliate marketing,” “affiliate marketing scams,” or “does affiliate marketing work.”

By utilizing this negative phrase approach you can catch some of the searches that we know will be made by people researching or looking for information on a given topic or business.

4. Write on Problems / Issues with your competitors as well.

Use the problems / issues subject as a lead in to article titles and subjects. Readers are searching for the problems or issues with a product or service. Give them what they are searching for. Explain the problems with a product along with the good.

You can write about the issues with a competitor’s product that your product may overcome. But also can give the problems your product may have, along with its benefits.

5. Use Compare or Vs

Write a list of comparisons or verses you of your product with others. Or even between 2 or more products in your industry you don’t even sale. This will develop trust and bring people back to you when looking or your type of product.

6. Write about Cost / Price

Too many companies are afraid to put the price of their products and services on their sites. Your customers are searching for the price and you should be up front about the price. Give the consumer what they are looking for. They will appreciate your honesty. Those who were not going to buy would probably not have bought either way. Besides, with very few writing about the cost and price of products, you would come up in search engines above many others.

7. Write “Best of” Articles

Make a list of subjects of the “Best of…” which can be the titles of future blog articles. People love to search for best of information.
